Bar Soap

Handcrafted in small-batches, the artisanal Bar Soap is made from an exquisite blend of shea butter, saponified natural oils, and essential oils.

Home to the creative practices of artist Sarah Ryhanen and her network of collaborators and co-conspirators, Saipua began in 2006 with a Brooklyn studio devoted to the dual crafts of flower arranging and soap-making. Meaning “soap” in Finnish, a nod to Sarah’s heritage and the tradition of Sauna, Saipua has cultivated a distinct aesthetic – one that fosters and encourages more intimate and provocative connections to the natural world.

• Cedarwood: A new take on a classic scent, the grounding aroma of warm and woody cedarwood is a tribute to the wood was burned by the Greeks and Romans to fragrance the air. The many benefits of cedar wood oil have been used for centuries to promote vitality and soothe the mind. 

• Charcoal and Patchouli: Activated charcoal draws out oils from the skin, making this black soap excellent for the complexion. Scented with an earthy blend of patchouli and lime essential oils

• Clary Sage with Dill: The scent of this soap is clean, earthy, and bright. It’s worth mentioning that smelling clary sage essential oil is known to induce euphoria.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns on select items within 14 days of receipt. Items must be postmarked by the 14th day to be eligible for a refund. You may contact us should you have any questions.  

Please note all original shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend all returns be sent insured and with tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged products.   

All items must be unused and in new condition with any tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted.
